Another Dungeons & Dragons event is coming here in Metro Manila and we want to make sure you know what you’re getting into! You have questions, we have answers!  


What is Conclave 2018: Second Wind? – A two-day Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) Adventurers League charity event where you can play D&D with other people and get access to exclusive content that are only available during events! 

When is it happening? – July 21-22, 2018 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Registration opens at 9:00 AM. 

How is this a charity event? – The Greasy Snitches, together with iAcademy, and the International Game Developers Association iAcademy are making this event to raise funds and make a feeding program possible for the children of Marawi, Lanao Del Sur, Philippines who were affected by the five-month long armed conflict.   

Who’s doing the feeding program for the children? – The Mindanaw Tripartite Youth Core organization are kind enough to help us with this project! Make sure you check their facebook page here. 

I want to donate money, how will I do that? – You can send us an email at We also have information on how you can donate on the email we send you once you pre-register. 

I want to send food, toys, clothes, and other things as donations instead of cash? Is this ok? – While we definitely appreciate it, unfortunately, we have no safe and secure way of transporting items to our chosen charity organization. With this, we are only accepting cash donations. 

Is the event free? – There is a participation fee of 300.00 Pesos for 1 day access and 500.00 Pesos for two days. 

How do I pay?  – You can pre-register now and reserve your seat at the Epic adventures or you can register on the day itself as a walk-in participant. Seats are limited so we recommend that you pre-register. 

I changed my mind, can I get my money back? – Unfortunately, we do not do refunds. 

Can someone replace me or one of my friends that I registered? – Definitely! Just send us an email or talk to our registration team during the event itself. 

Can I pre-register for a group of people? – You definitely can! You can pre-register up to seven at a time. 

What happens after I pre-register? – You will receive an email regarding payment options. We will also reserve seats for you if you decided to play any or both of the Epic adventures. If the tables are full, we will notify you immediately through email. 

Okay. So I pre-registered. I paid. What do I get? – By registering, you get access to play Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League adventures, Call of Cthulhu adventures, boardgames, Fai Chen’s Fantastical Faire, and the Artist Corner. 

What are the schedule of activities during the event? – See the daily schedule of activities below. 

What is Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League? – It is an ongoing official campaign for Dungeons & Dragons. It uses the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons rules, and features the Forgotten Realms setting. You can play D&D Adventurers League games literally anywhere. Players use the fifth edition rules to create a character and bring that character to games anywhere D&D Adventurers League play is happening.  

What is Call of Cthulhu? – It is a roleplaying game of mystery and horror, in which players take on the role of investigators to uncover the secrets of the cosmos. In the course of a game, the investigations may find themselves battling against crazy cults and horrors from beyond space. 

Can I participate even though I haven’t played these games before? – Definitely! 

What boardgames are available for us to play? – We have Lords of Waterdeep, Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate, Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu, and more! 

What’s Fai Chen’s Fantastical Faire? – It is a special Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League event option used at conventions to add value to the player experience of the event—serving as a way for players to trade away their unwanted magic items. Fai Chen’s Fantastical Faire has different magic items available each season—as well as consumable magic items available for purchase. 

What about the Artists’ Corner? What is it? – Here you can purchase stickers, drawings, pins, etc. created by local artists that’s part of the local Dungeons & Dungeons community! Feel free to support them by buying their stuff! 

Will there be charity related activities during the event? – There sure is! Stay tuned!
